Few weeks ago AMD introduced their newest chipset for wireless mobile computation platform, that is AMD M690 Chipset. The Chipset which supported 802.11n network will be faced with their competitor newest chipset who immediately will be announced by Intel in the near future.
The newest AMD Chipset based on AMD M690 will have been sent and installed in newest notebook by Hewlett-Packard and Acer at the end of this May. AMD said M690 platform will increase longlife the use of battery by 25% compared by the AMD platform previous generation.
With support of manufacturer’s partnership Nvidia graphic chipset and wifi Broadcom chipset manufacturer, this AMD M690 chipset immediately will compete with the next version of Centrino platform that is Intel Saint Rosa. AMD claimed if compared with Intel Saint Rosa, their M690 newest chipset will put forward the bigger screen resolution and faster process.
AMD will offer two versions of new mobile computation platform and both of them running on AMD Turion 64 X2 processor and wireless Broadcom processor, that is the version that used Nvidia graphic processor and the other version that used the ATI graphic processor.
When the Consumer Electronis Show implementation last January, this tripartite partnership demonstrated how the new AMD platform mobile will increase the achievement and graphic performance in playing games. Shown how in a location of the same network 802.11n a movie streamed directly from internet went through laptop to HDTV mainsail and at the same time the laptop also used to play games, and the other laptop also streaming the movie.
