Las Vegas, Nokia introduced three newest N series multimedia cellular phones, N76, N93i and N800. The three of them were exhibited in the Consumer Electronics Show 2007 in Las Vegas.
Nokia N76 is the thin clamshell cellular phone 13,7 millimetre (mm). The Nokia N76 cellular phone that supported third generation technology (3G) is equiped with interesting features like flat metal keypad, 2 MP camera, 2.4 inch display color, MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD slot and a 3.5 mm jack headphone facilitated the user listened to music.
The memory capacity that could be enlarged up to 2 GB enabled this N76 cellular phone could keep high quality multimedia file. Nokia N76 also bundled with Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition, enable the user to edit or transfer the picture to PC which compatible with this cellular phone.
This Nokia N76 cellular phone based on Symbian OS S60 3rd Edition would be market in the first quarter 2007 with price 390 euro or 511 US dollar. “This price not yet including the subsidy from the operator or local tax” explained Nokia.
Nokia also introduced N93i, the cellular phone that smaller than N93. This Nokia N93i cellular phone claimed by Nokia as “digital camcorder and multimedia computer in one” with video capture quality like DVD.
Nokia N93i operated with Symbian OS S60 3rd Edition and supplemented with stereo audio and digital stabilization facilities. This Nokia N93i cellular phone equiped with features like 3.2 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 3x optical zoom, autofocus and close-up mode. The other features on this Nokia N93i cell phone like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, infrared, microSD slot, MP3 player and FM radio.
Unlike Nokia N76, the Nokia N93i cellular phone only had 1 GB miniSD card. The Other Nokia N93i features is 2.4 inch display up to 16 million colours, joystick, WLAN and Universal Plug and Play. Explained by Nokia, N93i cell phone will be released to the market in the first quarter 2007 with price 600 euro or 784 US dollar.
Nokia also introduced the newest cellular phone of Internet Tablet, Nokia N800. With Linux operation system, Nokia N800 cell phone claimed had faster performance compared to the predecessor, Nokia 770. This Nokia N800 Internet Tablet cellular phone enabled the user to carry out the VoIP call via Wi-Fi hotspot and had full screen qwerty keyboard and a integrated web camera.
This Nokia cell phone will be sold in the near future in United States and some European markets, each with price 400 US dollar and 400 euro. Nokia also said will co-operate with Skype to produce Skype telephone feature on Nokia N800 Internet Tablet.
