Participants at that inisiative including cellular operator like Cingular Wireless, O2, Orange, TeliaSonera, TIM, T-Mobile, and Vodavone and big producer and supplier of mobile equipment, software and PC like Check Point, Dell, Fujitsu, Gemalto, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, Option Wireless, Novatel Wireless, Qualcomm, Sierra Wireless, and Sony Ericsson.
“Through the effort combination of operator and vendor, the excellence and widespread of the mobile platform nowdays could be enjoyed by notebook user” said Rob Conway, CEO from GSM Association. “With faster growing of HSDPA all over the world, 3G broadband enabled notebook with integrated high speed conectivity attending the comfort for his user” he added.

GSMA be sure that with the support of 12 foremost cellular operators in the world, which had about 620 million customers, help the handset produser to winning the tender got economic scale of production, logistics, and marketing to make 3G cellular phone 3G more covered.
